Does Music Lag On TP2?
 

I was just curious if Music lags on the TP2 once you get to 8, 12 16+ gb of music on your phone. I want to get a larder Micro sd card for my phone but mostly for music. I have a 2gb.

Does the random actually mean random when you have gb's of music or is the random order always the same random order?

Are they're any Good music aps for this phone? I do enjoy the HTC music tab since it is functional and easy to use but I only have about 20 to 30 songs right now so I dont really know how it will respond to a larger amount of music files.

How does the battery respond to music playing?

Any insight would be great

no lag at all, i always use my music player. took my 16gb 2 class card from my tp and popped it in the tp2, not one problem!

What about the random setting?

If you set it to all songs is it really random or is it always the same random order?

mine are on shuffle, i have about 2.5 gb left. my card is sandisk though, and i got it from best buy. some people have problems, but they get theirs off ebay or amazon. i can listen to 8 hrs and still have 50%-60% battery left.

I have about 4ish Gigbits on my 8GB class 2 card, I use the Music player in Sense, well now I use the one that't built in with Cookies Home screen (same thing) and runs great. I have all the songs in one playlist and use shuffle and works great for me.

The one thing I hated most on my TP1 was that It would play the same songs in "random order" over and over.

What good is it to have hundreds of songs on your phone if it only plays the same songs in random order.

I will test it out sometime this weekend.

i have a 16G card in my tp2 with tons of music...individual and hour long mixes. no lag on any settings at all. not even on your playlists.

when i would use the sense music tab the random would eventually drift into playing the music in ABC order for some reason

mine used to do that, but after 6.5 stock, i don't have that problem anymore.

I had the music lag and then I replaced my card with an Adata 16gb class 6 card and the lag is gone.
