Cookie Home Tab Editor and Verizon MR2.. Sluggish?

Anyone had any issues with the phone running much slower after installing the Cookie Home Tab programs? I flashed to MR2 today and installed these apps and I love the customization ability, but I noticed home screen was much slower and the phone seemed more sluggish overall. I reflashed to phone back to stock just as a test, and it definitely runs much faster without the CHT stuff.

How much more sluggish? like just half a second or like 3 to 5 seconds longer or worse?

I'm running Mr. X ROM, but if you look in that thread you will see there has been reports of sluggish performance with CHT v1.8.5. I noticed it as well, but just thought it was me being crazy. Try CHT v1.8.0 and see if you notice any sluggishness.

well MM and NRGY both reported it was pretty slow......I posted a fix from NRGY in his thread that he posted on Twitter...but it does remove panels to get speed back from what I read...have not had a chance to try it....seems as though he is making CHT more for the Leo...I think NRGY was going to ask em for a version for other devices with less in it...so that we can run it....

I've surprised you all have just barely noticed this issue. CHT is beautiful but on any device running the ms7xx chipset, it runs slower than stock sense. Ive tried it on touchpro and tp2 and was never satisfied with the performance hit. I tried all the roms and they all act similar. But i gathered knowledge, Mightymouse rom is the smootherst fluid Sense 2.5 out there. And Its not running on the cht. But Cht runs great on the hd2 and faster devices.

anything past 1.7 has been seriously sluggish for me. I tried is 1.8 and his latest 1.85...and it really is just lagging. i'm still on his 1.7 and it works fine.
