Weather animations on lock screen instead of today screen
 

if someone could somehow do this, I believe we could all benefit. no longer would our manilla slider lag due to the animations because they'll only be animating on the lock screen. I love the animations but hate the lag they bring with them.

That just does not seem to make since, so adding animation to the lock screen, I would think make the lock screen lag even more making it even harder to get into your phone.

There's not much else going on when the lock screen is up, though. I'm seeing a 40-50% CPU usage spike during unlocking, and about the same when locking, neither of which last for more than three seconds. It doesn't seem like the animations would be able to effect that they way they do processes occurring on the homepage.
