You have two options here, it seems the OS has a driver looking for an EXT rom that the HSPL is not set up for. so you can relock which i gues has been reported to work or dump the rom and remove OEM_FLASHDRV.DLL and OEM_FLASHDRV_1.DLL from the oem xip and the boot registry. they are un needed and this will fix the no boot issue.
You only need to remove OEM_FLASHDRV_1.DLL and overwrite boot.rgu with one from the MR1 update.

Just toss both they are junk, and remove any reference to ext rom and the dlls in the boot rgu

Also if it hangs on the windows mobile splash screen at 100% on the progress bar, you will need to recmod ntconfig.dll.

In the notification manager? yes you will if you are using Visual kitchen as it relocates modules kinda dirty.

I use a custom kitchen that i have ext relo'c deploying to properly relo'c modules which solves this.

Some stay stock because of the new sence build and volume control.

Exactly.. Its really hard to find a perfect taskbar anymore.
One that doesn't either mess up Messenger or youtube volume or music tab volume or HTC Volume... LOL\
Or any combination of those, so iv pretty much gave up on a custom taskbar.
At least until Gadgetfreak or Tsowen get back into making them.

anyone have a hack for the start menu?
Using CHT v1.8 and like the 5column it has for selecting quick links.

I had on sense 2.1 4 columns on the manila start but that same cab file doesnt work with 2.5.

Would like 4 coulmns on the manila start and 4 or 5 columns on the all programs.
