Thank you sooo much! I'll get on this right away! Funny thing this computer is a couple yrs. old. never a problem. have Nortons Security, catches any slight thing (if any) I even tried to dl from a different computer! Still problem!:confused1:

it's most likely cause you're infected. can you boot into safe mode with networking and download the malwarebytes? make sure you're getting it from malwarebytes.org. use the free version. if that doesn't work, then get on messenger and i'll tell you how to fix it. yahoo screen name razorloves

Rapunzul here, back to let everyone know that it wasn't my computer!!
Just got off the tele with HTC, refused to hear any further (kindly btw) and spoke with a nice big cheese from HTC named Samuel. He was awesome! Sent me a direct link from a 3rd party that they use and EVERYTHING WORKED! I didn't have to go into safe mode! He will note this for the files FOR SURE! I tried three (3) different computers! Same error message: "File integrity has corrupted. Please obtain another copy, verify integrity and try again"
This guy just "cut to the chase" for Rapunzel! So, all is well with my MR2 upgrade. Now I can get to the business of all my other TP2 corrections!
Oh..and of course, brush my hair now that I have more time!:laughing6:

Don't know if I'm right but,mine does this sometimes....I believe it happens when your phone is in an active data download. You know updates....weather, stock, etc. and you happen to get or try to send an MMS. To to this it asks permission to stop the active session.

This explaination just does not make sense, as MMS on a smartphone uses the data connection.

Hey guys, thought some of you might be interested in this.
Its a call history tab that works good with the stock ROM.
The uzeb call history cab adds the tab and the other one adds it in the options menu so you can move it around.

I dont know why it wasnt working on a stock vz rom, but whatever.. try that out and test out some MMSs

Is anybody else having this problem? After upgrading to VzW MR2, after I dial a number and hit send, the number just disappears and the call doesn't connect. It usually works on the second try, though. Same thing on the first press of a contact - nothing - but a second press works.

It is not a sensitivity issue. The device is registering my press, just nothing happens (or in the case of dialing a number, it erases).

I tried uninstalling things, then hard-reset. It appeared to work better for a while, but then started acting up again.

Mr X. Does your "fixed" ROM allow you to STEALTH USB tether to a device? I know you put the WiFI router in there, but when you connect via USB it gives you the option to use the phone as a modem as well. Will this allow FREE tethering?

yes, he cooked in invisible tethering, just connect via usb and select internet sharing.

DISREGARD -- this is apparently not an MR2 bug, but rather a result of incompatibility of chevy's vzw fix to saumaun's caller's city/state on dialer.

I did it....Just run the CABs it shows up fine....I haven't notice that it hurt anything. Icons might be a little "fuzzy".

Heres a cab I put together tonight for this ROM and X's fixed ROM. Heres a list of what all it does.

• Increase screen sensitivity
• Disable SMS sent notification
• Disable connect prompt for MMS
• Unlock Manila Start Menu
• Add real settings icon to WM 6.5 Start menu
• Enable rapi (No pop up when installing cabs)
• Enable Cleartype in landscape
• Installs a nice Soft Reset app in Tools folder
• real exit with x button in HTC Album
• increase FATFS cache (Supposedly boosts performance)
• Increase max opera tabs to 9
• Increase Opera thumbnail resolution on internet tab
• Added "Rotate Screen" option to buttons settings


after install, wait about a minute and then soft reset

EDIT: Added a 2nd cab that will do everything the first one will do but also disables Manila Start Menu

Hi everyone,

I noticed a lot of people were asking about a taskbar.

If someone can make a cab for me - I can provide the files I modded.
I created the files like 6 months ago from Stock VzW WM6.5 Sense 2.1 files. I only created a few of the icons - most of the icons are gfreeks work over at xda.

I never posted it because I was working with gfreek (helping him develop the CDMA version) and he was going to post it - but he has been MIA for awhile now...so if someone can make a cab for me I will put up what I am using.

Credit goes to gfreek for the icons!
I am NOT going to support anyone that has problems though (will try and help but cant spend all day looking at your phone setup, etc...)! And I do not have "options" like gfreek did (various start buttons, different battery level icons, etc...).

Hi, I had the same problem. I found that if you change the Wallpaper type to "Regular" (default on 1.8.5 is High Quality) it goes back to normal CHT performance (laggier than without CHT but acceptable).

i ended up using cht 1.7.1 with the editor it seems snappier than with 1.8.5, ialso tred 1.6.1 but 1.7.1 seems the best for me rite now.

I'm running MR2 with Max Sense 2.5. Seems to be working well. For some reason I have (2) Settings apps in the Start Menu. One points the Windows Start Menu and the other points to the HTC Settings. Is there anyway to rename the settings pointing to the HTC menu?

Also, I am using a keyboard config program as I want to remap a hardware key (probably the back button) to go to the Sense Home page/key. I can't figure out how to do this. I can program it to run an app but I don't know what kind of shortcut (?) to plug into it to take it back to the home screen. Any ideas? I've done some poking around here and XDA and I can't find an answer. Perhaps my word phrasing is wrong.

You can go into Windows\StartMenu\Programs and delete the HTC Settings.
Thats what I do anyway. not sure about renaming it??

I'm new to all of this & skimming the thread, found no answer to my issue. I updated to MR2 from MR1 & now MMS doesn't work (send or receive) & the following notification comes up "Connect: In order to send/download MM messages, the current active connection..." (can't read the rest).

I don't use it anymore (don't really need it with CHT) but when I tried it a while back it worked just fine.

I tried the EndKey replacement cab and it didn't work either.

I since installed CHT 1.8.5 and have the reset on one of the quick links.

Just wish I could get the ram usage down below 80% after 30mins of use (after a softreset). Starts out at 58% and jumps to 80% after about 30mins....then never seems to go down from there till a softreset.

Even the cleantemp cab doesn't seem to knock it down much.

I dont use CHT and I do all the HD2 tweaks from the xda thread and mine stays around 60-65 usually

With this ROM I've noticed that whenever I wake the phone with the button on the top left of the phone I have to do the "slide to unlock" thing. This didn't usually happen with the previous ROM. Anyone know how to disable auto locking?
