When you say SOD ( sleep of death) you are referring to the device's refusal to come back from sleep mode yes? Because if you did that, you've done something neither Verizon nor HTC seemed to be able to do.

Verizon and HTC can't even fix the flip clock on the Home Screen from having to flip forward 1 hour and two minutes to show the correct time. But now none of the flip clock fixes seem to work on this ROM.

I love how they always mess more up than they fix.

Purchased my TP2 about a year ago and now it works like it should have at time of purchase

MR2 relocked
Install dot net 3.5sp1
Install Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5
Install CHTEditor v1.8.5.1
Works better than any cooked rom I have used everything works great gps is dead on and fast device is very responsive

Also installed
Google maps
Bing
nueBattery
Touch X Taskmanager
GPS weather
Finally good work HTC
Relocking phone so far was not a mistake to get this rom installed

Well I just installed Mr X's fixed 'stock' ROM. We shall seeeee.

It's been running *flawlessly* for about 4 hours now. Longest it's ever gone w/out SOD. Thank you Mr. X, you don't know how many blind alleys I chased down for over 2 weeks. Meanwhile VZW continues to replace phones *with the same bug* when people call in complaining of SOD. ](*,)

That's not a bug, it's supposed to do that. It's a visual feature

the mr.x fixed stock rom is a custom rom. custom roms do not have a radio, so it will not change the radio that your phone currently has.

Just curious - anyone know a way to re-set one of the bottom keys on the home page to "Lock"? The one on Sense 2.1 went from "Lock" to "Menu" in 2.5. Ideally, I'd switch the one now labelled "Phone" on the bottom left to "Lock".

I've tried some searching, but I must be using the wrong keywords.

yea, it works fine. i tested it. i grabbed it from the mightyrom thread.
it's a regedit and it places the devicelock.exe in the windows directory, incase it wasn't there to begin with.
