Actually what comes after TP2 was the HD2 and Sprint sold us out(I dont like Judas). I dont see anything coming until WM7 comes out.

So true...:(

If a touch pro 2 style phone (hopefully little bit bigger screen) comes out with Windows Phone 7 I'm sold. That's all I need.

Windows market/apps will never be up to par, still in 2010 you cannot buy a windows phone that isn't sluggish or has something who makes others envious ... You have never seen a windows phone been sold out or on back-order... Maybe win 7 will be better, i doubt it since it wasn't much better on PC...

Why would the extra features needed to "hang" with those devices cost too much for a Windows Mobile device? Sounds like you just started spouting out unsubstantiated opinions which in the process makes you appear less than intelligent. Putting these features into a device is far less OS dependent than it is hardware. The main reason you do not see these newer high end phones for Windows Mobile is because the OS is discontinued by Microsoft. Just wait and see what Windows Phone 7 brings to the table and what the device manufacturers do with it.

Never seen a Windows phone sold out or on back order? I'll move right past this as it is one of the most ignorant comments I have read on these forums recently.

Windows 7 on the PC wasn't much better than what? Vista? XP? Win2K? There you go spouting off random unsubstantiated crap. First of all, Windows Phone 7 and Windows 7 do not in anyway share any of the same design. 2 completely different OS's. You are talking there as if Windows Phone 7 is a port of Windows 7. Secondly, Windows 7 is a major improvement over Vista AND XP. I should know, I beta tested for almost a year. I won't get into all of the reasons that it is better like how it handles multitasking, how the graphic engines for the UI have been improved, etc. All I can tell you is until they released Windows 7 I was still running XP x64 because Vista couldn't touch XP from a performance standpoint. After running several benchmarking tests, Windows 7 became my new OS.

What's the point of all of this? Well it may be I needed a good rise in my E-peen so I decided to pick on you. Or it could be that I am bored at work and felt I would show you how to write a well thought out response in a thread on the interwebs that does not make me look like a babbling buffoon who states his opinions as fact.

Re: So what comes after the TP2

sounds like everything has been covered, but ill repeat it for good luck.

TP2 is awesome IMO, i wouldnt trade it for an android or apple device. Im stuck with it for now for one reason. I see zero reasons to upgrade until another windows based device, same size screen or larger, 5 row qwerty, with the new snapdragon processor is released. Basically, im looking for the evo, with a slide out keyboard, and windows rather than android. That will be the next one to get, and i have no idea when its coming or who is gonna lead the market with such a device.

To the guy who made the comment about windows 7. XP was a good OS for many reasons. Its still a good OS. Vista had some innovative features, but was sluggish and had too many security holes. Windows 7 is basically the flashiness and extra features of vista and then some, with the memory footprint of XP if not BETTER than XP. if a computer will run XP, it will run windows 7 as well or better. How can you say anything other than "that is a fantastic improvement". On top of that, its as stable as ive seen since windows 95. I would take windows 7 for a business environment over any form of NT, 2000, server, etc. It is THE best operating system out right now.

Ill be the first to say it. IF the iphone 4 were available on a cdma platform that can be modded to sprint, I would get one, but my rates are far too good with sprint to switch carriers just to get one when i am not 100% sure i will like it. IF it releases on verizon and somebody gets it over to sprint, i may have to abandon winmo for a while and try it out.

I agree with Pyro. Love the TP2.
Make an EVO-ish phone with keyboard and WinMo7, and we will buy it.

Re: So what comes after the TP2

WinMob 7 from what I read so far may turn out to be a disappointment.

That said, as long as there's no hardware issues (knock on wood ;) ) I am happy with my new TP2. Physical k/b comes in handy and the stylus too, and I can use all my apps I've accumulated over the years. And the battery life is much better than I've expected (eat that, Evo ;) )
