I downloaded the cab provided in the original post. Sent myself a text message with the youtube link. It opened up the youtube app fine, but it keeps getting "connection error". This happens to ever link I try. But when I remove the patch, it opens in PIE just fine.

I tried and it does not. Midomi recognizes songs from the radio and then pulls up links to youtube for that song. After I installed your cab youtube links from e-mail do pull up the HTC Youtube player but links from the Midomi app use Internet Explorer. Any Ideas?

I installed it on my storage card and clicked a youtube link. Did not work... Im using a TP2. Should i have installed in on my device storage?

I've got the same problem that someone posted. The installs fine and the YouTube app now launches when an email link is clicked... the video just never connects.

Running a Tilt2 with E2/Chadster Sense 2.5 ROM.

@ marcvalme Hey, I've got a few of Qs –

# Does installation of the official YouTube app (v2.4.4) affect the function of yours?
# What does Youtubelinks_v2.exe do, was I s'posed to run it after installation of the app?
# Is Opera Mobile 10 supported, and if not, are you working on it?

The app seems like an excellent idea, but every link that I try in Opera Mobile 10 and every test email that I'd sent to myself've failed to open HTC YouTube.

I have a TP2 on verizon and the app works just as you stated...Thanks a bunch, i've been looking for something to do this for a while.

hi

i was so excited about this app, as i was looking for something like that for a long time....
unfortunately it does not work for me....

when i click on a link it opens youtube app, but nothing more - it does not play the movie from the link, just open the app.

i installed it in main memory, .net framework is present, rom is a standard factory one, and phone is htc touch pro with win 6.5 pro.
