I just switched from an imagio to this touch pro 2. Of course, the first thing I did was unlock in and install the energy gtx rom for this phone.

For some reason, the fn button doesnt work. could this possibly be due to the rom, or is this a hardware malfunction?

let me guess, you get the underscore when you push function???
It's been discussed on here before, I think you might have to use a keyboard mapping program to fix it.
edit: did you install the verizon keyboard fix found in the 2nd or 3rd post of his ROM thread.

I am an idiot, lol. I didn't even see that keyboard fix, even though it was right in front of me. But the fn key does nothing when i press it. I will try this fix now.

im actually having a problem with a stock rom tp2. I press the fn+sym key and I get an underscore. I tried installing the fix but that did not work. fn key works just fine however. any suggestions?

I'm guessing no one has answers to this? I am using Rhodium Keyboard Controller, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=554240, however I don't know what the key emulation is or event I should be inputting.

I had the same issues on my Sprint (Once)

I just did a Hard Reset and then everything was hunky bruster. Sometimes my Rhodium thinks its an Iphone (I.E. Stupid) but it usually snaps out of these "blond moments" within seconds and its all back to normal.

I will look around and see if I can find a fix to help you out buddy.

I'm having the same problem (FN+SYM gives me an _). Running WM6.5 on HTC TP2 with GoodThings2Life Sprint TP2 Cleanup. Any help on resetting the FN+SYM to the original functionality would be great.

hard reset and ditch the clean up cab. its more trouble than its worth. if you dislike stock enought to use a cab that "fixes" a bunch of stock issues, you may as well run a custom rom.
