no prob man, this is the stock dialer, its just been skinned. me personally, i never liked using the onscreen keyboard because i always misspelled stuff. when i installed this, everything changed, tthis keyboard seems way more accurate. you guys should check out Dinik's work. all of his stuff is made for hd2 but works on my sprint tp2 fine.

here is the keyboard thread

ive got something else you guys might like as well. its a new long press end key app (the menu that pops up when you hold end). the guy that made it for hd2, made a version for me for tp2. here is a screen shot, i will post a thread on it soon.

why not post a cab in the favorite cabs section???
Looks like a skinned version of smaberg's 12 button action screen.

exactly, it is a 12 button action screen skinned with Dinik's icons ;)
i will make a thread for it later today and post the link here for you guys. only reason i havent posted it before today is that i only have access to my tp2 right now.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I'm curious, aside from it being shinier, how does it differ from the stock one?

It's just a skin.

I installed it because it definitely looks cool, but it doesn't really add any functionality that wasn't already there.

TouchPal 3.5 will do what you want & is hands-down the best KB available after a small learning curve (& yes, I am including Swype in that statement)

PM me for info.

Hello John
Is there any reason you dont use touchpal 4.0? Seems to be the latest one. Im wondering if it gave you any problems on the touch pro 2

Swype 3.9 was horrible really slowed down my touch pro 2

I tried 4.0 & hated it, most long time TP users do not like the changes they made in 4.0.

Both versions work perfectly in the TP2.

I have Swype also as it came in my ROM, but I hate it (I just don't understand the appeal of that setup myself)

do you have a cab for the 3.5 touchpal (trial version of course). Tried 4.0 and didn't like it.

Here are some TouchPal 3.5 screenshots:

showing T+ (their verson of T9, which is awesome):

red/black skin that I made:

showing the full qwerty:

This is the KB I use 98% of the time (I use the hardware KB to enter URL's)

After a bit of a learning curve, I can type INSANELY fast with TP

With the T+ word correction, in 3.5 you have the option to "show word candidate inline" like it is doing in my SS.

I like this option a lot & leave it turned on. Cootek eliminated this feature in version 4.0 for some unknown reason.
