A Question

First of all forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section of this forum, as it has been awhile since I've made it on here.

However, here is my question.

I am getting my Touch Pro 2 today, after wanting one for quite some time, and I am not sure which version of WM is on it. I would like to put 6.5.5 on there, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me which of the many selections on here might work for me, as the only thing I've used before hand was a great ROM for WM6.5 on my Treo Pro.

Again I apologize if I put this in the wrong section of the forum, and thank you immensely for the help.

Wirelessly posted (PPCGEEKS Fire Dept.: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

the best thing I can advise is to read the tp2 upgrades section, plenty of roms to chose from.

Re: A Question

I don't have Sprint, but I still believe they are a CDMA server, so probably comes with 6.1 or 6.5. You would need to unlock it here. After that is done, then to load your new custom ROM from one of these. Good luck and have fun.

Re: A Question

check out MightyROM Full Force for a rock solid 6.5.5 ROM. ive been using Mightys 6.5.5 ROMs for a long time and ive never had any issues or "bugginess" that most ppl run into with 6.5.5.

Re: A Question

Ok, well again, thank you for the suggestions. However, due to the fact that AVG keeps saying that the hard-spl is a trojan and deleting it, I will most likely not be able to flash my phone, so for now, I will have to stick to WinMo 6.5/Sense 2.5. At least, till I decide to add that to the safe list.

Re: A Question

Just turn off AVG until you get it downloaded and run.
