Probably a simple Question on contacts
 

when I go to add a new contact, a default area code is generated that differes from mine. can anyone tell me how to change this?

Well, I am not sure what setup you are using but what I had to do was turn off sense go to contact's than options and its there.

do this....

press call button to get to the dial pad>Contacts>Menu>Options>Area code -->whatver area code you put in will be default when you're adding a new contact.

hmmm on mine it automatically changes depending on my most recent calls i think. and if i already have say a home number in and want to add a mobile, it prepends with the same area code as the number i already have saved on that contact
