Wi-Fi Router: No Internet Connection
Hi, I have been using the Wi-Fi Router for some time without any problems.
Yesterday I tried to turn it on via the switch in the Comm Manager and the spinning orbs just sat there spinning forever. No network was created, etc... When I try to click on the Wi-Fi Router (or open via programs) I get this message: "There is no available Internet connection. Do you want to setup the Internet connection?" I can click yes or no...obviously if I click no nothing changes...if I click yes it takes me to the Connections Settings...but everything looks OK. My internet works just fine - email, web browsing, etc...so obviously there is a data connection that is working. Any ideas what is going on? |

Re: Wi-Fi Router: No Internet Connection
I have found that if I create a new connection it will work... When it ask you "Do you want to setup an Internet connection" Select yes (or you can go to settings>connections>connections) Then under "My Work Network" select Add a new modem connection.
Give it a name... ie Internet then set you settings acording to your provider. Mine is Sprint so I put it to dial #777 and all the usrname and password stuff blank. Save it and go back to your router and it should work. Hope this helps. |
