Gmail question
I am using the gmail service that came with the touch pro2. Whenever I open my email with attachments and click on the attachments, I get the message that attachments will open the next time gmail connects. I deleted my gmail account because of this since it was easier to login to gmail through my browser. If the question was answered before, can someone forward me to the thread. Also the option to connect to gmail is a minimum of 10-15 mins so dont want to mail that long for a attachment. any help or suggestions?
Thanks in advance. |

Re: Gmail question
You should be able to just hit Send/Receive and the attachment should download. It might take a few seconds depending on how large it is.

Re: Gmail question
I don't know if your using a Exchange for work or not, if you are not try using google sync, its like your own personal Exchange with your Gmail account.

Re: Gmail question
Ah never mind.... here are the instructions:
From the Sense slider, select Inbox Select menu Scroll the screen up a bit Select tools Scroll up a bit Select options (if this is grayed out then wait a few moments and try again. its grayed out because the phone is trying to sync. wait for it to stop and try again) Tap the gmail account You’ll see three options there “Edit Account Setup”, “Send/Receive Schedule” and “Download Size Settings”. Select the last one (Download Size Settings) Change the message download limit to entire message Change download attachments to all attachments Tap done Tap done Tap done a third time and you should be back to your inbox. Do a send and receive and from then on you should be all set. Sometimes if you catch a new email as soon as it comes in you may find that it hasn’t finished downloading but most times you’ll go in there and all the attachments have been downloaded. Don’t forget to set the SD card as your default storage for attachment |
