Internet Sharing Problem
 

The internet sharing application on my tp2 says that there are no connections to share.

I have this same issue, but only when I have HTC Sense turned off.

For whatever reason, you have to have HTC Sense running in order to do Internet Sharing.

I'm tagging this, as I like just the regular Windows Mobile today screen instead of HTC Sense, because it is faster.

WMP also doesn't choke on re indexing my music from my full 4GB SD card whenever I disconnect from my PC. I've found that powering down and then powering up is faster than waiting for the HTC music tab to do its thing. This is mostly the reason why I don't use HTC Sense. The 20 minute car ride into work sucks if the phone is re indexing my music for half of the ride.

I would like to know if there is a .cab out there so I can use internet sharing without HTC Sense running.

I don't even have sense on my phone and my ICS works just fine.
click on ICS, wait for it say check usb connection, then connect usb. Has always worked for me.

edit: just connected for a test run and am getting 633kbps with only 1 bar of 3g signal. So it is still working for me.

Do you have the extra phone as modem plan?

I suspect that it is an issue related to hacking the phone to connect to Sprint, probably a registry key that can be changed somewhere...

I just don't know where to look for it. :dontknow:
