text message notification menu
 

On the stock rom when I got a new text message a notification would pop up that had the message text in it and a menu with the option to ignore the message, or save as read and another menu that gave the options to reply. When I've flashed a custom rom this menu doesn't appear when I get a new text, is there a way to get this notification and menu behavior back?

settings>sounds and notifications>notifications>move drop down to new text message> show message on screen

thanks boredandtattoed, I had done a hard reset and i noticed whenever i connected to the internet a dialogue box would pop up that it is connecting. That annoyed the crap out of me. Reading your post triggered how i disable it the first time.
