question: Flip clock on Energy GTX rom?

Hi guys,
My initial post in Energy's thread got flooded away due to massive post turnover there, which is why I am reposting my question as a new thread.

So a quick question: How do I mod back to the original GTX flip clock from the current analog clock?
I'm using the latest Energy.RHODCDMA.23569.Sense2.5.GTX.Themed.May.28

I have already browsed through the forums and also looked at the additional files link by Energy rom OP, but found nothing.

Cheerz,
Selphie

I hope this is waht you are asking to do.

On the home sense screen, tap MENU and then tap Edit Home Layout in the menu that comes up.
You should see a red bar close to the top of your screen that says Customize Your Home Tab.
Tap and hold the clock and a box will appear with thre options (Pervious, Next and Delete).
Tap either the next or previous buttons to scroll through the options available.
Once you have found the clock you want, tap the Done button on the bottom left of the screen.

Hope that helps.

Hi there,

Yes, that is what I wanted. Wow, it's so much easier to change compared to earlier versions where I needed to install different cabs to get such things done.

However, although when I select the "Original flip clock" it shows a simplified digital clock that does not flip. It appearance does not appear like the original flip clock; there is no background window to the clock and it does not flip when the minute passes.

Any ideas?

There are a few different clocks that you can download for the COOKLE HOME TAB but you would have to do some searching around either here or over at XDA. I'm not sure if there are any that are GTX themed clocks though.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hmmm, thanks for trying anyway.

Anyone else might have an idea on how to restore the original Flip Clock from the earlier GTX roms?

It's on Post #2 of his ROM page in the CDMA Upgrades Section... He has a whole add-ons section and website. Be sure to disable Sense before installing...

Already tried that.
After installing the cab, the flip clock outline is visible but the time itself is invisible.
So it is not a proper fix.

hmmmmm..that is strange . I've never had such an issue, as I like the plain white flip clock myself. At this point you may want to re-flash, and have that clock install be the first thing you do. Are you running any other Sense mods (MaxTTM, BTweak, etc...)?
