Need GPS and USB internet
 

Hello Friends,

My alltell touch pro could get GPS to any application with no problem,and I could share the internet through the usb cable. Alas, verizon bought them, and hijacked all the stuff I had. I have specific apps that use the GPS for flying airplanes. I need it to work. I also spen time regularly at a lake where no hard-wire internet is available (my alltel stuff worked good on the laptop.) I need the right hacks!! please help.

The new verizon phone is a TP2. How do you install these cab files? Just put it on the phone memory?

In the sticky there is a cab to get stealth internet and get ICS to work..if you want wifi there is HTC Wifi Router which makes your phone as a hotspot.

As for GPS it should be enabled....if your application does not have a way to configure gps try running google maps first then opening the application.

Well Isure it works the same? I thought the registry entries have to do with Sprint. Wasn't quite sure everything would be the same myself because he's on Verizon and also 'cause its TP1 and not TP2

Verizon is always more strict then sprint..that said he has a TP2..he said he had a TP before.

K,i-c the 2nd post by him,My bad. Well, I wouldn't know any other reg entries additionally needed beside the ones for sprint.. "Forcedcellconnection=sprint" probably doesn't help:)
