Using GSM
I'm gonna be heading to an area where cell signal sucks. Can I switch to GSM mode and hit those towers, and also not be charged for that?
If this has been answered somewhere, feel free to let me know what words I should use to search. |

Re: Using GSM
using sprint you have to unlock your sim.... this is lost every time you hard reset, afaik. then you have to get a prepaid, or if you want regular contract sim card thru either att or t mobile. put it in. i use this with my phone just in case i need the data, but a different number will be assigned to the sim, where are you going that the service will be bad???

Re: Using GSM
CDMA networks here in the US overall have better/higher coverage than the GSM networks do
