water damage when applying screen protector. need help!

I applied a phantom skin screen protector on my phone but I guess I used too much water in the process. Now my volume up button doesn't work. Does anybody have any advice?

I don't have insurance and the water sticker is now red.

Let it dry out for a day with the battery out, than see if it works.

Take the water sticker off the battery and put it on the phone. lol

I doubt the inside one is bad since it didn't really get dipped in water...unless you actually dipped it in water haha.

Send it in to HTC for you warranty, done!

This is after you make sure it actually doesn't work, that is.

Insurance is always suggested with a $500 phone. You must have really gotten it very wet for the buttons to stop working.
