TP2 RHODCDMA Radio Upgrade Questions

I am thinking of unlocking my radio in my TP2. Has anyone experienced any improvement in signal with the newer radio v2? If not, any tweak suggestions exist?

Are you getting a poor signal now? is it jumping a lot between 1x and EVDO? if not why bother?

you only have to be hardspl unlocked if you want to flash a different radio. or you can just flash the newest sprint rom and that will put the new radio on your phone without having to hardspl unlock. if you are already hardspl unlocked, then you can just flash the radio you want. here's the radios http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=90342

I was getting poor reception and dropping in and out of 3G/1x all the time. I flashed the 6.5 MR2 released a couple weeks ago (Verizon) with the newer radio and have not noticed much improvement... maybe better call quality, but still barely get a 3G signal. :/

I've heard some people have flashed different carrier radio's (within CDMA network) and noticed better results... Just something to check into to maybe validate a little bit more, just what I've read around on here...
