How to map key to take a picture?

I was hoping someone here has either done this or knows how. I want to map one of my hard keys to take a picture when I'm in camera mode (trying to align your finger with the on screen button if you're taking a picture of yourself is almost impossible). I've been using keyboard config to map a lot of my keys already but I can't seem to figure out how to make it do this - I can make it open the camera app but not how to execute a function INSIDE of it. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Why not position the phone just where you are going to be and set the timer?

Haha fair enough. But even taking normal pictures is annoying with the on screen button bc my hands aren't all that steady as it is, and having to push on the screen tends to defocus whatever i've just focused. Ideas?

It would be nice if you could use the volume up or down. :salute:

i don't know what i did.. or if it just happened to "WORK" with sense 2.1, but when i'd hit the camera button (mapped double-tap of mute to open camera.exe) and i was already in camera mode, it would take a pic... but now that i'm using sense 2.5, it's not doing it.
