Noob question, I should know better

How do I erase the info on my phone and start fresh with the same rom without having to reactivate again?

I know you can Clear Storage and do something from bootloader, but do these reset my phone as to where I need to activate again?

Also, when I go into bootloader (by holding down power and vol down on my vzw TP2), it just shows the tricolor screen and thats it. No prompt for anything, and none of the hardware buttons work.

Basically, how do I start fresh on my ROM, as it is running very slow and buggy?

PS - My phone won't sync to computer (taking it in tmrw) so I can't flash from computer

Thanks

clear storage will keep rom but be like you just flashed, thats all you need to do.
you can sdcard flash any rom/radio also w/o using pc, do it all the time.

Got ROM up and running again. Its amazing how fast the ROMs are after a fresh reset

I reset it before through bootloader and it deactivated my phone. I had to dial *228 to re-activate it just as you would a new device. Its a hassle

do you use cleanram or any cleaners? clearing opera cookies/cache helps too.

I barely use the browser except maybe once a week to look up one thing. But no, I've never used cleanram or cleaners

never herd of that, you sure you just didnt need to run provision?

Re: Noob question, I should know better

When I did that, it reset everything. Cleared all info, reset to stock ROM from VZW, and deactivated phone. I'm pretty sure I did something from bootloader to make all that happen. Since it was stock ROM, there was no provisioning, it just led me step by step to "set up" my phone, and wouldn't let me call out/text/do anything. That was with my last device that the screen stopped working 90% on me, so I had to use bootloader to clear everything

Re: Noob question, I should know better

I guess I shouldn't say a "hassle" but just more inconvenient than just simply starting on a fresh ROM and re installing everything
