you dont have to be sim unlocked to flash these. you just have to be hspl unlocked.

he hasn't done any from other devices. all the radios in that thread are from the TP2.

Ok, so here is the skinny on radios. Since most of you have only had a cdma device here are a few things to remember.

Code:
1) If you want to use US GSM networks you need to use Cmonex's patched radios for best performance.

2) If you are sim and security unlocked, this will not lock your radio again.

3) You MUST be security unlocked to flash radios i pack from other devices.

The key is you have to be SIM unlocked to flash a radio from a device other than the Rhodium (TP2). If you read the bottom of that post, they talk about bricking a TP2 trying to flash a radio from the Whitestone. You can flash the Rhodium (TP2) radios without being SIM unlocked.

you don't have to be sim unlocked to flash just a radio. you can flash any of the cdma radios on the unlocked radio page in the custom ROMs section.

I have tried several different radios and all I am is hspl unlocked. any cdma tp2 radio will work on your phone. try the uscellular. they seem to be the most popular.
