Verizon MMS problem
 

My MMS has always worked just fine using a Dec 17th NRG ROM & sending receiving both SMS & MMS with the HTC messaging.

Now, for some reason I can send MMS just fine but it is having problems receiving them. I get the "click here for MMS" with the little paperclip, but I can't view it.

Did VZ change a server setting or something else recently??

Just fyi....I was able to receive MMS yesterday. I'm running NRG's GTX 6.5.X 5/16.

since he started cooking in provisioning all i have to do is select vzw and commit,no arcsoft or any reg edits,love the new provisioning :)

There is no way I'm flashing a new ROM at this point, EVERYTHING else works perfectly for me & I receive about 2 MMS a year so it's no big deal really (plus I absolutely LOVE this ROM, I have the DUSK version).

Can I just run a provisioning cab in my current system??

What are the current MMS server settings??

Yes, you can just run provisioning cab, it won't reset everything (start menu > tools > carrier provisioning). I actually had to install imnut's verizon MMS cab to get it to work for me. Let me know if you need this.

no provisioning in the 12/17/09 dusk rom he is running,so yes it will be needed as far as other fixes i know of 3 that i always used


1. post #7213 made on 1/24/10 from NRGZ thread,i may have been running the dusk too then,was upset he wasn't cooking anymore of it and recall running to close to feb. so it may help

2. use this arcsoft made by tjelite,has worked flawlessly for me and 98% of ppl on XYC roms that are vzw users,dl here

3. last but not least,when all else fails i have always returned to the good old touch pro fix we used when sense was first ported over to vga,and probably the least problematic of all fixes i have used IMO,the Arcsoft Verizon MMS 5.0.69.44.cab and Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.CAB combo,just reverts you back to old school sms/mms if you can live with that

I had to reinstall my mms cabs to get mine working a few weeks ago

I just looked up that post & that is how I got it working back in December. It has always worked fine until just the last few weeks.
