i use Google Maps over anything usually.. because im not an idiot and dont need something to shout out commands at me for directions... which i wouldnt hear anyways since the radios on...

all i neeed is drive here..to here...to here...to here..done.. thats it.. just gimme the directions.. i dont need a guiding hand..i dont need somethng distracting me from what im doing... nor do i need to see a constant reminder that im just a dot on a screen...

and NO, im not calling anyone an idiot who actually likes voice guided directions... just saying, If your paying attention to everything your gps app can do, whos paying attention to the road..

I pay attention to the road, which is why I love Bing. I don't even need to look at the screen once because the voice guidance is excellent.

Voice guided-nav is also nicer then Google Maps when dealing with traffic or construction...take a turn and it instantly reroutes. With Google you'd have to get directions again.

i personally think that the sprint nav is horrible. i use google maps religously but recently the new bing beta has came out and that offers talking turn buy turn nav which works very well. i also use garmin xt but my maps are outdated slightly so i have been using google maps and bing mostly. im posting from my phone and am not sure how to post the cab file. pm me if you are interested in getting it.

well if you plug your phone into your car radio, you can stream radio and have gps talk to you at the same time, all through your car speakers so you can hear.

Thanks Ill try that. You're lucky. Ive had the problem since day one with my tp2 so maybe its just my area. Hopefully bing works. Thanks again.

I haven't had any trouble either but just tried the new Bing and it worked fine also. Actually, the Telenav works better for me on my TP2 than it did on my Instinct.

i wonder if the problems are data signal strength related??? if so, i don't think anything but a stand alone app would fix it.
