Connecting with Palringo Help

I can't get Palringo to connect. I keep getting the "Logging In" and "Reconnect Pending" messages. I can't uninstall/reinstall, because I'm using the one cooked in NRG's ROM.

I've searched the net, and it seems like people haven't had this issue for a while.

I don't know what to do.

I don't have a TP2, just the TP, but I'm running NRG's ROM and noticed the same problem a while back. It used to work really well, but I never used it enough to figure out when exactly it stopped working.
I thought Verizon was blocking it, but I get the same reconnect pending loop if I try to connect over wifi. It also doesn't matter if I try the one included in the ROM, install the older 2.2 version or the 2.3 one from palringo's website.
Sorry, I'm not much help, but it's not just you.

Just curious, but are you a former Alltel customer, or are you by chance using the hybrid Alltel/Verizon PRL? If so, that's your problem. Alltel users have never been able to connect to Palringo, the only fix is to install a Verizon PRL. Go to start, settings, system, device information, and see what it says for PRL, if it starts with a 4 then that's an Alltel PRL and definitely your problem.

Ah thanks, but I'm a Verizon only user.

Palringo seems like a great program, I wish I could get it to work. Maybe if I delete files or something? (I'd have to know which ones to delete though..)

Did a little messing around.. I'm not on the hybrid PRL but I went back to an older PRL since at some point in the past it used to connect.. No luck..
I'm starting to think it does have something to do with Verizon though.. If I turn off data, turn on wifi, and leave the phone radio on, it will do the reconnect loop... However, if I turn off data, turn on wifi, and turn off the phone radio, then it will connect and work just fine...
