Strang TP2 reception issues with Sprint.
 

Ok, I am on vacation in South Carolina and some really strange stuff just happened with my TP2 and Sprint.

I am running the latest version of the Sprint Lovers ROM and it works great! But...

Tonight, about an hour ago, I lost all the connections on my phone. Voice, data, all of it was out. My dad who has a blackberry on Sprint also lost all of his connections. But, my friend who is on vacation with us also lost all of HIS connections and he is on Verizon. This seemed very weird to all of us.

Since then they have both gotten data and voice back, but my TP2 refuses to work. It constantly searches for a signal and won't send/receive calls or texts.

Sounds like a tower near you has gone down. I think Sprint and Verizon do have agreements to use some of the same towers when roaming. Not all though. You could try loading a different PRL that would point your device to a different tower. Look here:

It might not be worth the trouble if you aren't going to be there long. :dontknow:

Thanks man, thats what I was afraid of...

Oh well. Only going to be here a few more days, so getting away from the cell will be good!
