Email not deleting
 

Hey guys have a quick question. My email set up on my phone (hotmail,gmail) are not being deleted in my inbox. Like I'll delete them on my phone but when I go online on my computer they are still in the inbox and not deleted. I had hotmail with 6.1 and noticed if I deleted it on my phone it would also be deleted when I check on my computer. Is this a flaw with 6.5 or is there something I have to set up for this????? Thanks guys.

bring up your email, then click tools, settings, pick each email and check the settings.
you have to set it to delete from the server.

I have the same problem and I made sure to have "delete from the server" selected but it has not fixed the problem. They will reappear on my phone in about 2-4 hrs roughly from when they are deleted. Annoying since I get an email alert on the phone and I think I'm getting new emails but no, just the emails I deleted earlier.

ok i'm a dope under my email settings I can't find anything having to do with a server??

i had similar issue & was cornfused as to y my emails wouldnt delete & come back. if i actually view & delete them in windows standard it deletes. if i view or delete them in htc way it dont. pardon me for lack of correct terminology if such was the case between the 2. but point being made im sure

I have the same problem. Will try this. Used to work fine on my Mogul with Outlook mail.

Where are you guys deleteing them from? htc email tab or in outlook itself?

dumpringz's post above is exactly what the problem is and how to get around it. I have seen this bug in mightyrom and mr.x rom. unfortunately i have not seen a fix for this yet.

As dumpringz's mentioned....deleteing emails from the email tab on sense 2.5 causes this problem. Not sure if it's an htc problem or something the chefs accidentally did. Hope it's fixed soon.
