camera zoom
 

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the magnification level of the camera. I know that the camera might have a max optical zoom, but does it have any digital zoom and can it be increased.

I always feel that the zooming is not enough.

I have used the magnification slider just above the hard keys to zoom in and out of the camera and then the photos themselves.

Edit- It also works in the video camera, but only when you're not recording. You set the zoom and then fire.

Another cool feature of the camera is you can modify the focal point by tapping anywhere on the screen. That way you can compose your picture with your subject in focus.

Digital zoom is crap anyways...As I see it your just cropping the picture and the exploding it a bit, the results yielded are not very good IMHO.
