is there a way to dim the backlighting when in camera mode? I have the backlight all the way dim, but when I turn on the camera, it's super bright. (I'd like to be able to dim or brighten it).

Thanks!

I rarely post here but go to camera app and hit settings-advance-keep backlight (off)

Yikes! Those are some pretty crazy uses for the camera. (I know you're just kidding around, it's all good). I was actually at a show in a performing arts theater, and I wanted to take pics. I dimmed the backlight in case I get a text or something, but I wanted to take a few pics with my phone (send mms, upload to FB, etc...), but as soon as I turn on the camera, it's super bright!! And I personally don't mind (Although it is bright in my face, but I can deal with it for a few seconds), but it's very distracting and inconsiderate to others (Ever been in a movie theater and some douchebag is texting with the phone up in the air throughout the whole movie, and it keeps distracting you? Annoying).

So, any way to dim the backlight on the camera?

I have the setting, I turned it to off, but nothing happened. I even turned off the camera, and turned it back on, still nothing.
