SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5 on HTC Touch Pro2
 
On 06/08/2010, SPB released Mobile Shell 3.5.5. It runs quite well - if you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot and compare your experience to HTC Sense.

Looks like this is the changelog...pretty ambiguous if you ask me.

Version 3.5.4 (May 14, 2010):

* Changes in the Internet search widget
* Fixed a couple of issues around logging into Facebook and Twitter
* Backlight support for new devices
* Other bug fixes and optimizations

They changed from Google to Bing on the search widget. Some MSFT love going on.

lol yeah, you can switch it back to Goolge in the registry I believe... but I might stick with Bing for a while.

I found the changelog to be quite empty as well... but I tested the update and it works great.

what rom are you running with this? I enjoy SPB but have found only a few soso titianuim roms to run.

I prefer the Darkness231 switcher, switch between Titanium, Mobileshell, and HTC Sense.

I saw someone had an EVO themed SPB MS 3.5.4 around here, looked pretty sick an supposedly ran fast as hell..

i've been using mobile shell for awhile now and i love it. i've tried MS 3.5.4 earlier but the one thing i didn't like was that they removed the task manager at the upper right corner much like what happened on WinMobile 6.5 but everything else was pretty much the same.

I'm running with MobileSense now i have to say it's even better than the regular one and much smoother and clean looking.
