Anyone else find a strange "groovy.mp3" file on their storage card??

So one day I noticed this "groovy.mp3" file on the root of my storage card. I played it and found it was a song from the band "White Lion" (huh?). At first I thought maybe a family member had played a prank when playing with my phone until my brother asked me about a similar file he found on his TP2. His was a different song... We both erased the files and a little while ago I noticed a new "groovy.mp3" file which this time was a "Postal Service" song.

My suspicion is that this is either a bug or programmer prank. Anyone else find a file like this? I would have to guess that it must be from one of the music programs I run. I have (or have had) Groovefish, Nanogroove, Midomi, Slacker Radio and Kinoma Free Play.

Anyone??

No bug or prank. It's from NanoGroove. groovy.mp3 is just the last song that you played - it downloads it to the storage card and overwrites it each time. If you like, you can rename it and boom, free MP3!

It's the file from Nanogroove app. Groovy.mp3 is the latest music file that you've played with the app.

No. It is from nanogroove. Hence the filename "groovy.mp3". That thread says nothing about a file with such a name. As someone who has also used nanogroove, I can attest to also having this file on my card. Its just the last song you played.

yep, good way to download music aslo. Rename that file then transfer it into a different folder.

It's so hard to convey sarcasm on an internet forum :( Maybe I'm just a jerk who assumed that the person would've played the file and noticed that hey, it's the same song as the last one he streamed on nG!

I totally understand if one is unable to make that connection and is therefore forced into creating a thread about it. Speaking of worthless threads, I need to make one about whether I can activate an HTC Evo on my SERO line.

haha I caught it, but one may have had to have read the other thread first to realize it was a similar conspiracy type thread to get the (inside) joke.
