PPCGeeks - Touch pro 2 sms sent notification!

This is maddness!! It just wont go away!

I am no newbie to modifying registry's I have had this problem with my previous windows mobile phones. That annoying SMS notification sent message. It is normally an easy registry mod done in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs\

I've added the key, deleted the key, changed the value 1 through 20. Soft booted each time I made a change and no matter what I do that damn SMS notification will not go away. I searched through the registry for hours hunting down anything that said "SMS Sent" or "Text Message Sent" and deleting it then soft booting. (yes i backed up my registry) and still no matter what I do it wont go away in the TP2 (verizon).

I get different variations of the notification now. For example now it displays from a notification from the bottom of the screen that seems to be related to the HTC GUI rather than Microsoft.

Ive restored my Registry and now its back to the center and I've ran the .cab file below:

I have searched around here for hours looking for a fix but am I the only one who cannot get this damn notification box to go away! I have even re-flashed my TP2 and tried again.

Am I just blind and not able to find someone else with this problem or am I truly alone with my TP2 refusing to get rid of the text message sent notification? If anyone has heard of anything like this, please help.
