Cannot register two apps i purchased
 

Hi I recently purchased two apps for my my phone EasyHelper Information Hide and EasyHelper SMS Security

I am not able able to register the products with the keycodes i was given upon the purchase called tech support and they said make sure my device is correct called htc and they told me how to do so so all that is correct however the apps did not register emailed mobihand and they and they emailed thesse instructins

What should I do if the software doesn't work on Smartphone devices?
A: Most Smartphone devices are in "Security Locked Mode" and you need to unlock your device before installing the software.
Please follow the following 3 steps to unlock your device:
1. Download and install this CAB file on your device.
2. Download and install RegEdit (it is free) if it is not installed.
Then look here:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies]
You have to change these keys (they may look so):
Key "00001001" value must be "1"
Key "00001005" value must be "40"
Key "00001017" value must be "144"
Key "0000101b" value must be "1"

i was able to download the cab file
but not able to download regedit

I am seeking help on doing the registry edit i think this will allow me to register my apps anyone who can please help me i would really appricate it I have a htc touch pro 2 runing wm 6.5

a bit weird as I havent run into this before but oh well, just use any other reg editor you have and navigate to those keys. Phm reg editor,Resco file explorer,sktools,MemAid..all can do the job...you may have one installed, regular file explorer that come with the device wont cut it...it will work out. Are you installing to the device memory or SD? this should register w/o all the hassle.

actually sktools will disable the security certificate....anyway, do u get an error or what when u enter the registration? forgot to ask...

Doesnt matter really, if u need space in device then SD, it will work:mrgreen:

error mesg says invalid registration key please check the registration key you entered and try again

Under the read me text it doesn't support 6.5 Did you email them to see if are device is supported ?

if i need i will switch back to 6.1 to get the apps to work how could i switch back to 6.1 i have 6.5 on it now
