SOLVED mods close - dumb keyboard question
this is going to sound really dumb considering i've had my tp2 for a month and a half but isn't the keyboard supposed to light up? at first i didn't think anything of it not (i memorized the keyboard fairly quickly so typing in the dark isn't a problem) but i noticed the fn lock and cap lock lights at the top of the keyboard don't light up so that made me wonder about the keys.
answers are appreciated, mocking is acceptable |
Re: dumb keyboard question
both the fn and caps status light is supposed to light up.
as for your keyboard it turns on when it detects low light settings.. but to answer your question YES it is supposed to turn on. |

Re: dumb keyboard question
Look into:
Start > Settings > Personal > Buttons > Backlight tab > Enable keyboard backlight auto sensor. Make sure it's checked. Hope that helps!!! |

Re: dumb keyboard question
so i did a master reset and now everything works, my problem is i don't remember installing anything that's why i thought it was a hardware problem not software.
anyway, thanks everyone for the help! |
Re: SOLVED mods close - dumb keyboard question
do you have a custom rom on your phone? and this just happened randomly?

Re: SOLVED mods close - dumb keyboard question
no it was all stock, i may have installed something when i very first got it but i don't remember anymore, what i do remember is never having the keyboard light up but i didn't think about it until i noticed the cap and fn indicators weren't lighting up so i thought there might have been something wrong hardware wise but it had to have been something installed after the fact because a hard reset cleaned it right up
