Clearing Contacts off of Sim Card TP2
 

Is there anyway to delete the saved info off of the sim cd. like contacts and such.

There is, I did it after I copied all my contacts onto my SIM accidentally. I just don't remember exactly how I did it. Lemme take a look at my phone and I'll post back if I can figure it out. IIRC I was just playing around trying this and that to get it done.

edit: I just looked in /System/Sim manager and there's a drop down for delete contacts. Did you try that? I don't have anything on mine now so I can't try it.

Why not just delete the pim file? Or maybe Im misunderstanding what youre trying to do.

edit: Oops you said SIM. Not sure about that.

I know that with the rom I'm using, you go to All People>Menu>SIM Manager
From there, you can delete the contacts off of your SIM card.

on stock sprint 6.5.. goto start>calls folder>sim manger.. its all in there

thank you everyone. you all were great help. i cant believe i couldnt figure that out. some times the most easy things are the hardest to figure out. thanks again........Time to get my EVO4!!!
