HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
HTC Calendar stopped working on my sprint TP2 stock 6.5
When I slide over to the calendar home tab I see an all white, empty, year calendar displayed. The softkeys do not change from the previous tab and cannot be selected. ie. They say All Messages/Menu but are not functional. The next/previous arrows on the year calendar also do not function. I can access my contacts and I can access the calendar data thru Pocket Informant. Any ideas on how I can fix the calendar app I would appreciate. Thanks, Steven |
Re: HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
if a soft reset doesn't fix it, then you will probably have to hard reset. have you backed up your phone lately??? if not it is probably too late to back up, just make sure your contacts and stuff are synced to myphone and do a clear storage.

Re: HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
Soft reset and removing pim.vol doesn't help. Maybe a registry fix or some other file on the device needs to be cleared. I don't have my application cabs in an auto installer so I was hoping not to have to hard reset. My contacts/pim data is backed up.

Re: HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
did you try to run cleartemp? maybe it will remove the offending file/problem.

Re: HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
downloaded./ran cleartemp . Now cprog.exe fails to launch as does senseui. looks like a hard reset is required.

Re: HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
I did a hard reset. Calendar working again.
However, installing jd taskmanager results in cprog.exe and shell32 crashes. Before the hard reset and reinstall, jd taskmanager worked fine. |

then you could narrow it down, its not .NET framework because the MR1 Sprint ROM comes with it, but could be something similar |
Re: HTC Calendar App Corrupted - Help
I have all my cabs on my sd card in a folder.
Hard to isolate which if any may be causing td taskmanger install to yield cprog/shell32 crashes. I'll have to learn how to use sashimi or uc to automate cab installs so I can do another hard reset without all the hassle. Thanks. |
