Cannot install custom CABS
 

I download custom CABS, and connect my HTC Touch Pro2 to my PC using Windows Mobile Device Center. The CAB files are saved on my phone as .xml document. When i click on it, the phones browser launches the files, but i cannot seem to actually install the file onto my phone...How do I do this?

what cab? just use tp2 to dl and install.

You are either downloading .xml files (not a .cab file) or you are saving it as an .xml file. Download it to your computer (to see if it downloads as a .cab) and then transfer it to your phone. But make sure what you are downloading ends in .cab (is an actual cab file). But do not change the extension to .cab if it is not actually a cab file.

Definitely need to install CABs, not XML.

Also, if you're on a Stock ROM and depending on what you're installing (if it contains unsigned DLLs), then you'll need sdkcerts.cab.
