Every button is waking my phone up! How do I turn this off?
 

My damn phone keeps being turned on by ANY button. Like hang up button, windows button, back button, even keyboard buttons.

I think this issue stemmed after installing (and very shortly afterwards UNINSTALLING) pocket shield.

How do I fix this!?

have you tried running some cleaning programs to make sure it was fully uninstalled? Did you use WM uninstaller or something like TMS/SK Tools?

Try scrolling all the way to Settings from quicklinks bar (thats the bottom bar w/ tabs like facebook, twitter) go to Other Options>Keylock Options>check the box that says 'Lock all buttons except Power button'

I had this happen to me from flashing some ones rom. I had to do the task29 then flash to the rom I'm on now. It's good now. Hope that Helps. Thanks T M Z

idk what version of pocket shield u had but had u kept p.s. in the systems settings u could have disabled any key to turn on device. ... just out of curiousity how come u uninstalled ?

You can also use the start menu go to Settings> Key Lock

If it's not there there, there may be a cab to reinstall it.

I'm not sure if it's even ps that did it anymore lol. I reinstalled it and can't find any settings that point to anything like this.

I basically uninstalled after deciding I didn't need it. Now that every button turns the device on, I do need it, so I reinstalled it.

lol .. id b 1 pocket & a$$ dialing fella if i didnt have p.s & the unlock via light sensor is greeaaaat. so u said u didnt find the settin ? in settings on the bottom right that button thats an arrow pointing up well ttap that then tap system settings after the list displays. its in there. it doesnt come installed already checked to wake up on any button so idk y u may have encountered it .. p.s lock screen kix a$$ ppl are always amazed by it

thanks so much. The screen looks familiar. I must have hit it while I was stoned then forgot about it LOL

which skin are you using? I actually like the WM7 theme.
