i have tried to install 3 different taskbars today & after i do so & soft reset, the only icon to appeear is voicemail one & phone becomes completely sluggish & some buttons dont respond to input & cant access settings except thru slider .. anyway after annoying removal & soft reset all goes back 2 normal. any1 have any clues to why i cant get them to install right? ive triple checked & all are for 6.5 not 6.5x specifically. previous to trying i was using tsowens taskbar with no problems . anyway if any1 has a clue i thank u now for input. i tried a search but wiforum search isnt helpful all the time

what rom? this tb works on 6.5 and 5x, try it.

sprint stock ... the tb i tried prior to this post was bignadad dusk theme taskbar or sumthin like that. but i will try that 1 thanks.

the taskbar installed fine but it dont show battery %, just the icon that would appear if phone was charging. if i soft reset with it not plugged in then itts fine but once on the charger it stays like that. i also cant get the 1 taskbar out of my list(dafunkbrians bw 6.5) of installed progs. thats the 1st one to load with just the vm icon & slowed this device down. i so dont wanna clear storage lol

im on sprint 6.5 too and that other taskbar thats halfway uninstalled sounds like the cause of your problems.. i had the same issues the other day til i got the previous taskbar fully uninstalled... try and reinstall the exact same tb and it should say the previous version must be removed, select ok. when it asks whether to install to storage card or my device, select cancel. this has worked for me on other bad uninstalls as well.

also, you have to watch some of those taskbars. some say they are for 6.5 and 6.5.x but then you read more and it says it does not work on stock roms... some of the taskbars break the single volume feature as well... those are some of the things i look for when im looking for taskbars and from what i am finding, there arent many taskbars out there that work on spprint 6.5...

I'm using the same taskbar (almost) that darren posted. the charging icon stays displayed until either:

A) you soft reset
b) the battery level changes.

@darren what is different in the "MightyEdit" taskbar form the normal version?

the new dlls are edited for volume so it doesnt get funky. my charging icon doesnt stick either. for 1% battery i use this.

it says previous version cannot be uninstalled with the method u mention. i had the taskbar install issue before the problem of uninstalling i forgot to mention. any thoughts any1 ?
