Server IP, I need two
 

When I sync with the USB I hit the internal IP of the server.

When on the road and syncing remotely I need the external IP.

Is there a way to make it use the one when on USB and the other when syncing wirelessly?

You need to explain this a little more.

no... you need to find out if there is a DNS entry for that IP that works both internally and externally. that way you can sync by a named alias instead of an IP address.
