US Cellular -> Sprint
BEWARE! Noob Ahead
Okay I have a US Cellular HTC TP2 and I wanted to use it with Sprint. I ugraded the ROM to HSPL and then I flashed it for the stock Sprint ROM. When I went to activate it on my Sprint account I read the DEC# to the representative and they said they could not activate it. Reason being the number was linked to a lost, stolen, or deactivated phone. I opted to not reveal the fact that I unlocked the phone. Here are my questions: 1. Can I activate this HTC TP2 on my Sprint account even though the phone was orginally a US Cellular phone? 2. If so, what is the best way to activate it? Thanks for your time and sorry for being a noob, everyone has to start somewhere. |
Re: US Cellular -> Sprint
Unless you can talk someone at sprint into adding your phone your out of luck. This has been a unrelenting fight for a lot of people and it takes a lot of fighting and knowing someone on the inside to make this happen.

Sprint only uses Sprint modified phones

Re: US Cellular -> Sprint
Tried this too when I switched from GSM to CDMA and didn't know they had a list of ESNs that could be activated...ended up selling the phone and getting sprint one.
