Different ROMs and Microsoft My Phone

Has anyone noticed that My Phone syncs faster on some ROMs but crawls on others? To sync 10000+ text on Calkukins Stripped or MalROM 6.5.3/Sense 2.5 takes like 20 minutes but on Zone-ROM and Energy I can wait two hours and it'll still be in the hundreds. Why is that?

why are you syncing 10000 texts? what do you do with all of those? read and delete or wait forever.

No I just want a record of all my text online. As far as I can tell theres no option to have it only upload text instead of having to download all the old ones also
