[solved] erase personal information including prior number
 

How do you erase personal information including prior phone number and voice mail number ? I have hard reset and delete storage but my prior number is still there. The phone is inactive sprint phone. I have tried to remove the SIM card and prior phone number is still exist. Thanks.

you have to change the MSID im pretty sure... ##778# >edit> enter your msl code i believe.. and change your msid to 000-000-0000...

or if you have the ## uinlock code given to you anytime you wouldve esn swapped/or activated with that specific device will allow you to edit Msid as well.. not everyone has those though, but i always save them, so i dont need sprint or the internet for my own ESN swaps..

doin that, once its power cycles back on, when you look at the voicemail number it should read all zeros

its ##786 on Sprint...ull need your MSL and eventually your MSID as well when you go to reprogram it..a ##786 will not only wipe the phone but will also wipe programming info which is what i believe your trying to accomplish

Don't forget to hard reset after you changed your MSID to delete your old number.
