Roaming/Tethering Questions...

Hello...Long-time lurker here...

Haven't found a direct answer to my question, so here goes....

I currently have Sprint, but am buying a house that does not have Sprint service available. Verizon service is, however, available there... No DSL, no cable internet...

Now here's my question... can I tether my laptop roaming on the verizon network surfing the internet? I don't want to get stuck with a huge bill and/or no internet, etc...

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!!!!

I can't answer this for sure, but I think I have read that sprint will kick you off if more then half of your plans usage is roaming, and also I think I've read that data roaming is capped at 300MB (and then I think you will get charged). So it probably wouldn't be a good idea to use the phone as your main source of internet, especially while roaming.

sjs01... thanks! I had a feeling it was something like that... Verizon has so so coverage there... I'll have to think about it.
