I have recently installed a cab that un-grey's the "flash light for" under the "Sounds and Notifications" menu in hopes that i could control whether or not the light would flash for certain things.

Well, one of the things, new mail, still continues to flash even though i don't want it to. Is there some place in the registry i can change that?

the cab was "Notification LED Enable Option.cab"
its worked for the most part with the exception of the email.
please help...

You can't turn it off with that cab, I've tried. You can, however, change the time that it flashes. I set mine for 5 minutes. It's actually useful for me as I have it in a cradle in the car and don't feel the buzz when an email arrives, I do see the light start flashing. LED doesn't seem to affect battery life.
