Hard Reset when locked and password is incorrect
 

I have a HTC Touch Pro 2, and i cannot hard reset the phone because what i believe to be the keystroke combination (powered off, press power + send/talk + end) wont work because the phone is locked and the password is not being accepted. I cant even power off the phone. If i take out the battery as soon as i put it back in, it restarts.

try the button combo and pop the battery in while the combo is pressed. otherwise I thought 10 incorrect guesses used to auto hard reset the phone.

Thanks that worked, its like you need 3 hands to do that, I tried it before i posted anything but i guess my timing was off a bit.

I found a phone once too... I turned it in to the carrier.
