I was running the newest build for a week and decided to switch back to the 6.5 2.1.

I'n going back as well, not only is 2.5 a little slower but I just don't like the home screen UI as much and after a day of usage I sometimes have as little as 33MB of RAM free, even immediately after running cleanram. I don't have anything else installed really other then basic apps. I sync a month's worth of exchange e-mail (roughly 700 mails) because I'm so mobile and I think that just eats up a lot of the RAM I guess, even if e-mail isn't open.

Have you tried cookie monster home screen?? You can customize it to your liking, even just like 2.1 for speed! It's been said that the amount of free ram doesn't necessarily slow your device down, it may actually make it faster as some programs are in lingo so when you go back to them they open much faster.

mightyrom 6.5/2.1 final is pretty good. i'm a new user to custom roms so i'm looking for a fast and stable rom to my liking. i'm currently using mr. x rom 6.5/2.5 for now.

I agree. i have mightyrom with 2.5 but installed cookies home tab and its really nice...you can have that clean look of 2.1 or pack it with short cuts, not to talk about all the clock options and additional features. Very happy. Like i said in another post, i have been wanting that level of customization since i used spb shell on my omnia. I loved sense but hated how if you wanted to change something you had to do it permanently with a cab. Cookies home tab is da bomb

listen. its not a question of how clean the home tab looks. the rhodium was not meant to run 2.5, it was meant for the hd2 which has a 1ghz chip compared to the rhodium which is 528 mhz. 2.1 on some kitchens dont even perform that well on the rhodium. ive messaged mike on these forums for a link to his 2.1 final but i have yet to hear anything and im not holding my breath. mightyrom 2.1 was the bomb... i want that one back
