quick question....
 

i'm leaving the country for the first time with my tp2, will i be able to just buy a sim card when i get there, and pop it in, or will i have to unlock it some how? my bad if it's a stupid question, but this is my first time doing anything like this.

your sprint tp2 already comes unlocked for international use. just buy the local sim card, pop it in, pick GSM in your phone settings and you're set to go! enjoy your vacation!

If you used the search feature you would find that question has already been answered many times.

Also, when creating a new thread it would be nice to include the topic in the title. It is also helpful because when you enter the thread title you get a list of simillar threads as you type. You might have gotten your answer faster that way.

The last poster is correct, you can buy a local sim in the region that you plan to visit. In that region you can also use the Sim provided by Sprint for access with your normal phone number. I have not done this myself, but if you check out Sprint's website, you will see the per minute rates as not what many would consider reasonable.

thanks, i figure that what it was, but i didn't want to get out there, and find out different.... as far as my vacation, i'm sure i'll enjoy every minute.. i'm going to D.R. for 10 days... yall hold this sh!t down till i get back... :D
